Relationships are at the Heart of Everything We Do

  1. 90% of families will be satisfied with networks.
  2. 95% of facilitators will find PLAN’s communications about roles as effective.
  3. 75% of people at the centre of the networks will report they have people to do things with.

Peace of Mind for Families

  1. PLAN will document 3 stories of members’ experiences in losing their parents and securing good lives.
  2. 90% of Families will be confident in PLAN’s ability to sustain the network.
  3. 80% of families will have peace of mind.
  4. 90% of families will be satisfied with facilitator encouragement of network participation.

A Commitment to Family Direction, Leadership and Accountability

  1. Increase participation of lifetime members to 40%.
  2. 70% of families will report that they are satisfied with their opportunities to connect with other families.
  3. 100% of members will be successfully contacted three times within the past year.
  4. 90% of families will find PLAN’s Board & other families effective in providing them with support & other information.
  5. Provide a minimum of 6 workshops for associates per year.
  6. Provide a minimum of 3 workshops/services accessible outside the lower mainland

  1. 80% of employees will report that they have developed knowledge or skills.
  2. 85% of employees will be satisfied with PLAN’s encouragement and support to be innovative.
  3. Facilitator retention will be 80% .

  1. The future role of family associates in PLAN’s governance structure will be been determined.

Contagious Vision

  1. PLAN’s distribution network will increase to 10,000 families across Canada.

Self-Sufficiency with a Entrepreneurial Spirit

  1. 80% of network costs will be covered by fees and contributions.
  2. 90% of lifetime members will feel that the return on their investment is worthwhile (considering the network and PLAN's services).
  3. There will be 4,000 PLAN associates.
  4. 75% of PLAN Associates will renew their status each year.
  5. At least 50% of lifetime members will indicate they have left or intend to leave a bequest to PLAN in their wills.
  6. 80% of operating revenue will be derived from social enterprise activities.
  7. PLAN will work collaboratively with other organizations to develop new ways to assist families to secure the future (including ways to assist families outside of the lower mainland)

Leadership and Advocacy

  1. 90% of families will be aware of PLAN’s policy and regulatory reform work.
  2. 80% of families support PLAN’s social policy agenda.
  3. 80% of families will be satisfied with the quality of PLAN’s leadership for tax and welfare reform.
  4. Individual advocacy responses will be tracked and training will be provided to family consultants.
