We wish to thank the Lotte & John Hecht Memorial Foundation for their generous support in funding this second phase of the social audit cycle.

This report builds on the strong foundations laid by those who designed, implemented and guided the first social audit to its completion. Many talented and hardworking PLAN friends and supporters were part of that process, overseen by Vickie Cammack, Executive Director of the PLAN Institute for Citizenship and Disability.

This audit would not have been possible without that foundation. Vickie Cammack continued to provide advice and guidance throughout. Nancy Ford who played a pivotal role in conducting the first audit, provided continuity as a member of the steering committee, conducted focus groups and offered assistance in developing surveys. Alexis Pidlisecky oversaw database work and was a key member of the steering committee from start to finish. Karen Steirhoff of CS Resours provided valuable expertise in survey design and analysis, Rita Morin and Chuck Damov assisted in conducting focus groups and Jack Styan assisted in the written report. Family members on the social audit steering committee included Joan Lawrence, Ian Thorsen, Steve Sui, and Sandra Rice. The overall process was overseen by Jacinta Eni.

Catherine Johnston adapted the spectacular original design created by Digitopolis Media Corporation.

PLAN's directors are especially grateful to key stakeholders whose willing participation made this Accountability Report possible.
