Designing,
implementing and guiding the social audit involved many talented and
hardworking PLAN friends and supporters. The initial exploratory work
was done by Godwin Eni and Colin Mallet. Doug Walls and Gerry Hodgson
and Deb Mayotte all provided input in the design stage. Marylee Stephenson
provided invaluable advice on survey design and her firm C.S. Resors
compiled the data.
The
audit would not have been possible without Nancy Ford who played a
pivotal role in conducting focus groups, developing surveys and preparing
information for the web site. Alexis Pidlisecky oversaw the database
work and was a key member of the steering committee from start to
finish. Lifetime members on the social audit steering committee included
Joan Lawrence, Jack Collins and Sandra Rosang.
Susan
Todd of Solstice Consulting provided the external review. She is the
only reviewer in Canada that is accredited by the Institute for Social
and Ethical Accountability and her input resulted in a more comprehensive
audit process for PLAN.
Without
the incredible images generously donated by photographer David Campion,
this Report would not be what it is today.
Digitopolis
Media Corporation made the Accountability Report look spectacular
and we are indebted to Sue Kerr for donating the time of their talented
designer, Kirsten Gravkin. Linda McDaniel made the Report consistent
and clear.
The
Accountability Report was produced by PLAN Institute for Citizenship
and Disability. Vickie Cammack, Executive Director of the Institute,
wrote the final Report and oversaw the process.
Funding
for the social audit was provided by the Vancouver Foundation and
the Lotte & John Hecht Memorial Foundation.
PLAN's
directors are especially grateful to staff and other key stakeholders
whose willing participation made this Accountability Report possible.
